Reminder:
Tomorrow we are excited to be going for our first coulee walk of the school year. We will be doing math and collecting objects to create art and patterns inspired by nature artist James Brunt. Please make sure students have an easy to eat snack they can put in their pocket or carry.
This morning we came into the classroom to find our sun paintings dry and looking amazing. The students cut their practice painting techniques out and glued them into their journals.
In math we are extending our learning of patterns to be able to communicate how each "term" increases or decreases and students are starting to create and draw their own patterns. They are then learning to use a table to chart the pattern term and value.
This afternoon we continued our "Where I Live" journal page where students wrote about all the sights, sounds, and smells that they love about where they live.
