Reminder to sign up for "Meet The Teacher" virtual conference this Thursday.

Orange Shirt Day is September 30

The students were each given a card with their username and password on it so they can log into their Google Classroom.  See if you can get in to look around tonight.  We will talk more about the Google Classroom during Thursday's conferences but please remember this is work we are doing in class and only needs to be used if the student is home and unable to come to class.  Please put the login information card somewhere safe to keep at home.

This afternoon we started to look at theanimals we researched and the characteristics that goes along with that animal based on indigenous teachings.

We have also begun looking at communities around the world and getting a sense of where they are on a map, what some traditions and customs are and today we had a wonderful time listening to music and drawing what we hear in our own way.  Today we looked at Greece, Botswana, and the Philippines.

EHS Terry Fox Run: Friday, October 2

This year is the 40th Anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope and Eric Harvie School is proud to be continuing the legacy of one of our greatest heroes. Please join us and support this wonderful cause by donating to: http://www.terryfox.ca/EricHarvieSchool. Together, we can all make a difference! #terryfoxschoolruns @terryfoxfoundation

Eric Harvie School raised over $4000.00 last year and even more in previous years.  Let’s reach for that again this year!

This morning the students came in to find a pattern challenge for them to work independently on.  We were excited to hear how they each worked in their own way, using personal strategies to solve the problem.
