There is no school on Friday Dec 4th as it is a professional development day for teachers!
We worked on rounding numbers to the nearest tens, hundreds and thousands place to help us in estimating. We practiced estimating numbers as we added and subtracted 2 digit and 3 digit numbers.
Learning about rocks and minerals...
Students are starting to classify and identify different rock types based on different attributes of each rock type. We learned about minerals and a little bit about the rock cycle! We learned how rocks and minerals are formed.
