Peace Ambassadors will begin on Monday, November 30th. We will call down each class and show you where to sit in the gym.  At 11:40 you will return to your class to eat your lunch.

Families Helping Families:

As we continue to work with addition and subtraction in math, we will start to increase the values we are working with.  One of the strategies we are working on is rounding numbers and estimating.  This will help students to self check and correct themselves when they know "about" how much the number they are adding or subtracting should be.

After reading The Wild Robot today, we discussed what a timeline is.  The students then created their own timeline of the events that have happened so far in the story using pictures and words.  

This afternoon, Mrs. Cox's class worked on creating a symbol to represent Harmony.  They are then going to attempt the difficult task of creating a stencil so they can use their symbol in numerous art pieces.
