Reminders:

On Thursday afternoon, if it's not too rainy, we will be heading out for a coulee walk to start our investigations into rocks and minerals.  Please wear appropriate attire for the weather.

We are very happy to welcome Miss Shivi and Mr. Papp into our classrooms.  They are our student teachers from U of C and will be with us for the next 6 weeks.

Don't forget to go by the front of the school to check out our Art/Science walk and learn all about animals from Costa Rica and Madagascar. Use your smart device to scan the display and find out more information about the animals of our countries of study.

Today the students worked through an assessment for place value to find out how students are doing with their understanding of numbers to 1000 (gr. 3) and 10 000 (grade 4).  

Our classes also took some time today to log into their Google Classrooms.  In the event that students need to be away from the classroom, we want them to be familiar with their login information and accessing their Google Classroom.  As your child what they did on the lap top today!

Some students are working on creating quantities with cash!

We had the opportunity to log on tour google accounts and explore google classroom and gmail. Then we worked on a place value assessment. Students used all of the tools they have gathered to show their thinking.
