Reminders:

Thursday is Crazy Hat Day

On Wednesday , Dec. 9th, Mrs. Cox's class will be filming will be filming their music video for Light Up Your Hearts. If your student would like to wear something special they are welcome to!

 

If you have not signed the CBE use of student information form OR sent Mrs. Coulson an email with consent to have your student filmed for this project and you would like your student to be in the video please send an email to jabaine@cbe.ab.ca.

Today we began an assessment in Math to find out how our students are doing with addition and subtraction and to assess the strategies they are able to use independently.  This will guide our future instruction.

We also got to watch Mr. Kai's class and a Kindergarten group perform online in today's advent calendar.  We loved their musical performances.

As we wind up our focus on Rocks and Minerals (we will continue to draw attention to rocks and minerals throughout the year) the students wrote a reflection piece on what they learned, answering specific questions to prompt their writing.

This afternoon was a lot of fun and quite messy as the students began to build their robot based on their design the drew in their journals.
