Get outside and be active!
Wednesday, February 3 is this year’s Winter Walk Day. The goal is to get more Albertans physically active outdoors during the winter. Just because it is cold outside, it does not mean we can’t be active outdoors. Most of us already doing this; February 3 is a great time to celebrate it. It may be as simple as walking to and from school, playing in the snow, taking a walk after dinner, going bird watching, or any of the countless activities we are fortunate to be able to do during the winter.
Valentine's Cards
Sadly, this year we are unable to share Valentine's cards with each other so we are going to create a class collaborative poetry slide show. We will share this on with everyone but here is a sneak peak...
This morning we continued to practice our multiplication and division skills through by completing some worksheets to reinforce what they know and help build automatic recall.
This afternoon we continued to refine our bridge designs, thought about adding measurements and quantities to our materials list, further details to our procedures and added information about why the students are choosing the materials they chose to get them to think more carefully about strength and supporting weight.
