Grade 4 Students!

Please return your exempt form for health lessons forms for next week.

With the beautiful spring weather ahead of us, we may be going on a few walks this week and next week to explore our food web inquiries as well as nutrition and decimals in math.  Please email your child's teacher if you plan to be picking up your child early from school just to make sure we are actually in the building!  You may also want to send a hat and sunscreen in their backpacks each day just to be safe!

Talent Show...

We will be hosting a virtual talent show in the last week of school so if you have talent submit a video.  We ask that videos not be longer than a minute, if they are I will be editing them shorter.  A talent can be anything that you are great at so dig deep! Of course this is totally optional but if you would like a chance to showcase what you can do please submit a video to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hMdt38EKYBqxckjzuXbljB3FTczpRVx9?usp=sharing NO LATER THAN… Wednesday June 16th.  Please be aware that this is a google drive folder and anyone with the link can view.  Please just upload your video there, making sure it’s appropriate, and leave the rest to us! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Continuing the fictional writing process!  It's hard work developing character, setting, problem and solution.
Today we started our "hook".  How can we hook the reader and make them want to keep reading the story?

We learned a new and complex math game today.  It involved decimals, number lines, coins, and hundredth cards.  We will continue to work on this!

Bones... Bones... Bones...

Many students went camping over the past weekend and found some bones to share with us! We researched and tried to determine what type of animal they came from!

We started a research project on gorillas. We collected interesting facts that we will use in our next project.
