What a beautiful day for a Terry Fox run! We want to thank our students for all of their hard work today and for pushing themselves to run the extra lap and also for cheering on the rest of the school once they were finished their run. We all want to thank Sobeys and Parent Council for supplying a snack after our run.
Thank you to all of the children and families who brought in toonies/money and sent in online donations. We will calculate it and give you the total on Monday.
Once we had caught our breath, had a snack and rehydrated, we had a lovely end to our day doing some artwork with silhouettes. We discussed the difference between a shadow and a silhouette. We then use rip art/collage work with magazines to become colour detectives and search for the colours and patterns they want for their animal silhouette.
