Today we welcomed back our student teachers, Mr. Pap and Ms. Shivi. We are so happy to have them back with us for the next couple of months.
We will continue to work on Multiplication and Division concepts throughout the school year especially as grade 4 students move toward multiplying and dividing one digit by 2 digit numbers. As we do this we are also working through other concepts such as shape and space. Today we started to look at regular and irregular shapes and other characteristics of 2 dimensional shapes such as parallel lines and right angles.
This afternoon we looked closely at two different animal life cycles, frogs and clown fish. Students jotted down their observations and drew quick sketches. They are then asked to write down the important information they gathered from their observations.
