Thursday, April 29

Ms. Huebner’s class will not be visiting the coulee tomorrow—we will reschedule for another day!

We had another fabulous day in the coulee today!  We have sorted our coulee interests into 4 groups and the students are exploring their curiosities and deciding what to share with our community engagement posters that will be placed in the coulee.  We have a group of students who want to teach ways to explore and have adventures, safely in the coulee.  Another group is researching the history of the coulee, while one more group is teaching tips to care for our coulee and finally, a group who is interested in teaching about the plants and animals in the coulee.

Hats On! for Mental Health Day

On the first Wednesday in May, Albertans are invited to wear a hat to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health. Participating schools will relax their hat rules and encourage students and teachers to build understanding by wearing hats to school.

No coulee trips for either class tomorrow!

Crocus Hill

Measuring the circumference of trees...

Uh oh!!

Using our string for all kinds of other things...imaginative play at its finest!

The City of Calgary gave us gloves, sanitizer and garbage bags so we could do our part in keeping the coulee clean!
