We want to wish all of the Dads and Grandpas out there a fabulous Father's Day!
Community Walks: We will be going on a few community during our last week and a bit of school. Please make sure you email your child's teacher in the AM if you will need to pick your child up from school early. Please also ensure students have a hat or sunscreen as well as proper footwear.
Talent Show...
We will be hosting a virtual talent show in the last week of school so if you have talent submit a video. We ask that videos not be longer than a minute, if they are I will be editing them shorter. A talent can be anything that you are great at so dig deep! Of course this is totally optional but if you would like a chance to showcase what you can do please submit a video to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hMdt38EKYBqxckjzuXbljB3FTczpRVx9?usp=sharing NO LATER THAN… TODAY. Please be aware that this is a google drive folder and anyone with the link can view. Please just upload your video there, making sure it’s appropriate, and leave the rest to us! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
ROUNDING WITH DECIMALS AT SOBEYS
Big thanks to Sobey's for welcoming us in small groups to spend our "$50.00" on whatever we wanted. The students recorded the name of the product, the actual price, and then rounded to the nearest tenth in order to easily add what we've put into our "cart". Once we returned, we calculated what we spent, and then checked with a calculator, to find how much money we had left, or how much over our budget we went. The students were so, so respectful and were amazing ambassadors of our school.
