Community Walks: We will be going on a few community during our last week and a bit of school. Please make sure you email your child's teacher in the AM if you will need to pick your child up from school early. Please also ensure students have a hat or sunscreen as well as proper footwear.
We have doing, "Would You Rather" problems where students need to perform mathematical functions to find out which option would be best. Today they started the day off with creating their own for others to solve.
Before lunch, we read more of My Side of the Mountain, by Jean Craighead George. The students are very excited to keep reading so hopefully we will finish before the end of the year. We talked about the characteristics of the main character and looked at how the author shows the personality in such an artistic and meaningful way.
Today we went outside for lunch a bit early since the students earned a break after their story writing period. We played British Bulldog, kickball and Frisbee Golf.
