On Wednesday the February 10th it is Pink and Red Shirt Day!
We will be celebrating with our buddy class through a google meet!
Today we had a special virtual presentation and learned about the sandstone underneath Calgary. We learned tips and tricks on how to identify and classify different rocks. If it is shiny... what does that mean? If it is sparkling... what does that mean? If it is layered... what does that mean?
So many interesting curiosities!
We continued our Billy Goat Bridge project and had time to be reflective! We started a self- assessment checklist to figure out how we are doing on our project. The grade 4s worked with Mr. Strand to brainstorm their experience at Eric Harvie. What memories do you have? What feelings are provoked? How might you symbolize it? The grade3s worked on sentence structure. They created multiple sentences and then tried to identify the subject and the action of each sentence.
